Ottawa World Travel and Tours Safari Booking Terms and Conditions

Booking and Payment
1. Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total safari cost is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.
2. Final Payment: The remaining balance must be paid in full at least 30 days before the start of the safari.
3. Late Bookings: For bookings made within 30 days of the safari start date, full payment is required at the time of booking.

Cancellations and Refunds
1. Cancellation by Client:
– More than 60 days before the safari start date: 75% of the total safari cost will be refunded.
– 30-60 days before the safari start date: 50% of the total safari cost will be refunded.
– Less than 30 days before the safari start date: No refund will be provided.
2. Cancellation by Ottawa World Travel and Tours: We reserve the right to cancel any safari due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, a full refund will be provided.

Changes to Booking
1. Client-Initiated Changes: Any changes to the booking must be communicated in writing. We will accommodate changes where possible, but additional costs may apply.
2. Ottawa World Travel and Tours-Initiated Changes: We reserve the right to make minor changes to the itinerary. Major changes will be communicated promptly, and alternatives will be provided if possible.

Travel Insurance
It is mandatory for all clients to have comprehensive travel insurance that covers cancellation, medical expenses, personal injury, death, loss of personal belongings, and all other expenses that might arise as a result of loss, damage, injury, delay, or inconvenience occurring to the client.

Health and Safety
1. Medical Conditions: Clients must disclose any pre-existing medical conditions or disabilities that may affect their ability to participate in the safari.
2. Vaccinations and Medications: Clients are responsible for obtaining all necessary vaccinations and medications required for travel to Kenya.

Liability
1. Ottawa World Travel and Tours will not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from natural disasters, acts of terrorism, civil disturbances, theft, or other circumstances beyond our control.
2. Clients participate in the safari at their own risk and are required to sign a liability waiver.

Visas and Passports
– It is the client’s responsibility to ensure they have valid passports and appropriate visas for entry into Kenya.

Code of Conduct
1. Respect for Wildlife: Clients must adhere to all guidelines provided by guides to ensure the safety of both participants and wildlife.
2. Cultural Sensitivity: Clients are expected to respect local customs and cultures.

Complaints
Any complaints should be communicated to the tour guide or company representative as soon as possible so that corrective action can be taken. Complaints not resolved during the safari should be submitted in writing within 30 days of the completion of the safari.

Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions will be subject to the jurisdiction of Kenyan courts.
